Main Duties

  1. Operate company vehicles on short notice, including during emergencies or staff shortages.
  2. Good knowledge of vehicles.
  3. Be available to work on-call, including weekends and public holidays.
  4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  5. Report any vehicle issues promptly and ensure cleanliness and must know basic vehicle maintenance and safety.
  6. Keep accurate records of trips and deliveries.
  7. Enforces all Safety, health and environment rules and regulations according to country/company protocol including OSHA Compliance.
  8. Compliance to group and local Code of Business conduct and all policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  9. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by a Shift Manager.

Minimum Requirements (Qualifications)

  1. Minimum of Form Four (Ordinary Level) education and above.
  2. Good understanding of traffic laws and road safety practices.
  3. Valid Tanzanian driving license (Class C or above preferred) from NIT.

Specific Knowledge

  • Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience working with a reputable company.
