Job Overview

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be responsible to troubleshoot and support desktop systems, assist with network issues, and ensure smooth user desktop operation.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support to users facing technical issues with hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems, frequently using remote access tools.
  • Assist users with the setup, configuration, and use of IT equipment and software.
  • Log and track incidents and service requests in a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, backups, and system monitoring.
  • Create and maintain documentation for common issues, solutions, and IT procedures.
  • Offer guidance to users on best practices and new technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures, including managing user access and permissions.

Job Qualification and Experience

  • Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in installing and configuring various computer systems.
  • Knowledge of installing, configuring, and repairing computer hardware and software.
    Skills in setting up, administering and troubleshooting network resources, including routers and
  • switches.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
  • Terms of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on a Fixed Term Contract.
