Overview
The Wajibika programme team at Oxford Policy Management (OPM) is currently seeking a Programme Administrator on a fixed-term basis, based in Tanzania.

Position Summary
As Programme Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the effective and timely delivery of the programme, ensuring that operations align with OPM’s professional standards, client requirements, and relevant regulations.
You Will Be Responsible For The Following
- Review financial documents before processing payments.
- Monitor and follow up on staff, consultant, and third-party advances to ensure timely retirements in accordance with OPM policies.
- Process vendor payments and ensure prompt settlement of invoices.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all programme financial transactions.
- Arrange logistics including booking flights, accommodation, and ground transport, with consideration for security requirements.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for programme activities and events.
- Support the procurement and contracting process for goods and services.
- Maintain project records, including document filing, data management, and archiving.
- Assist in coordinating project events and workshops.
- Support grants management by monitoring subgrantees and reviewing submitted reports and documents.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills / Behaviours
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong administrative and coordination skills, with proven experience in managing systems, processes, and tools.
- Experience or understanding of international development and donor-funded projects is desirable.
