We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Consultant II to join our growing team in Mwanza, Tanzania. In this role, you will leverage your strong technical skills and understanding of tax regulations to provide exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
- Advising clients on tax planning strategies and compliance
- Assisting in tax audits and responding to tax authority inquiries
- Staying current on tax laws and changes in legislation
- Collaborating with senior consultants and managers on complex tax projects
- Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in tax consulting or a similar role.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
