Chef Trainer Job Vacancy 

Job Summary:

The Chef Trainer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, from training, menu creation, and food preparation to kitchen staff management. The ideal candidate will be a creative professional chef with extensive experience in high-volume kitchens, a keen eye for detail, and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Train, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
2. Oversee the kitchen budget, including food costs and other expenses.
3. Work closely with the management to set menu prices and plan special events.
4. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
5. Creating menu items, and recipes and developing dishes ensure variety and quality 6. Ensure meals are produced on time, and enough are available for the various areas
6. Train the chefs to be able to meet the client’s dietary requirements.
7. Ensure all staff are aware of their duties and what is expected of them
8. Teach new staff skills they require to perform their roles to the required standard
9. Delegate duties to the kitchen staff as per the menu requirements
10. Oversee and monitor the work of kitchen staff to ensure all tasks are done as required
11. Ensure wastage is minimized by careful supervision of food preparation methods
12. Ensure proper hygienic storage methods are utilized to prevent food loss

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Professional and Qualified Chef both in hot kitchen and pastry
2. Certificate or Diploma in hotel management
3. 10 years of experience in a similar role, often with a background in various culinary styles.
4. Strong leadership, creativity, and organizational skills.
5. Proven experience as a Chef Trainer, Executive Chef, or Head Chef in a reputable establishment.
6. Exceptional creativity and a passion for culinary arts.
7. Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen regulations.
