In an effort to stream line operations, Serene Microfinance LTD seeks to recruit qualified Loan Recovery Officer to be involved in loan collection /recovering. 

Loan Recovery Officer Duties and Responsibilities 

• Keep tracking of outstanding loans
• Plan course of action to recover outstanding loan and owed money
• Perform loan recovery as per target given
• Locate and contact debtors
• Update account status and database regularly
• Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
• Handle customers’ questions or complaints
• Negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans as directed by your supervisor
• Build trust with debtors
• Identify gaps in the system and recommend solutions

Loan Recovery Officer Requirements / Skills / Qualifications 

• Two years of experience as Loan recovery officer in a microfinance /bank
• Knowledge of relevant legal requirements
• Good negotiation and persuasion skills
• Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication Degree in business administration, finance or other related  courses is preferred skills
• Excellent Communication (both written and spoken) in English & Swahili

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Holder of University Degree or equivalent qualification in business administration,  Finance or other related field
• A t least one year experience in a similar position.
